Q: I
have positional vertigo which I seem to get about once a year for the past 10 years. It
lasts anywhere from 2 or 3 days several months. Any ideas?

A:
Generally vertigo is associated with an increase of rLung (wind) or a combination of rLung
and Bhaken (phlegm) energy disorders. A state of unbalance of the two principles of rLung
and Bhaken are usually due to your routine food and behavior. Its symptoms and
characteristics are thinness, dark complexion, fondness of warmth, shivering, abdominal
bulge, constipation, loquacity, vertigo, loss of stamina, poor sleep rhythms and
impairment of the sense organs. This is just a general compendium, not all symptoms will
be present.
Therefore you should consider certain beneficial
foods and behavior to reduce rLung and regain balance. You should avoid repeatedly being
late getting to sleep, try not to be very talkative, or to be over active on an empty
stomach. Poor nutrition, sexual exhaustion, insufficient sleep, fasting (being without
food for long periods), excessive mental activity, excessive verbosity, excessively bitter
tasting food, or light and raw food are counterindicated.
Traditional Tibetan medicine is very effective for
any kind of rLung disease, so you may like to try this.
