Q: I have numerous
uterine fibroids in the wall of my uterus. I was advised to have a hysterectomy but
decided against. I have been trying progestrone cream twice daily and have added
chasteberry herb and other supplements including Chlorella. Will this even help or what do
you recommend for a 36 year old women who wants to keep her female organs for hormonal

I am a Traditional Tibetan Medicine doctor so I don't have much knowledge about
progesterone cream and chasteberry herb for uterine fibroids. I can't make any assumptions
without knowing their ingredients and potential.
I would like to explain to you a little about Tibetan medical science and how it might treat a similar case. Development of fibroids is often a cause of pain in the abdominal area (and surrounding uterus area). They may cause excessive menstrual bleeding and they may be extremely numerous and/or large as well. Sometimes the bleeding is like a straw colored fluid or blackish. This type of case is very difficult to treat with natural medicine, but the fibroids can be removed surgically in severe cases and generally the natural medicine practitioner will give advise on what to do after surgery. The same natural herbal medicines are used to prevent future occurrence.
