Staff Bios

Anna Souza, Congress Coordinator, and Director of Pro-Cultura, Inc. has over fifteen years of experience with Asian and Central Asian cultures, dealing with issues of conservation and protection of cultural heritage. As Executive Director of Tibet House New York, she organized and coordinated the International Year of Tibet. Anna Souza was the Tibet House coordinator for the exhibition "Wisdom and Compassion: the Sacred Art of Tibet" as well as several other photo-exhibitions, film festivals, publications and performing arts presentations.

Jackie Wootton, Scientific Coordinator, President of Alternative Medicine Foundation. Inc. worked for two years designing and developing information resources for the Office of Alternative Medicine, NIH, combining expertise in alternative medicine information and electronic networking. Consultancies include directing the Informatics Project at the R & H Rosenthal Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Columbia University, College of Physicians & Surgeons and as Associate Investigator on two NIH Clinical Center studies. Information work in the public interest continues through the newly formed Alternative Medicine Foundation, Inc. She is currently Executive Editor of the peer-reviewed Journal of Alternative & Complementary Medicine (indexed in Medline) and has published widely on alternative medicine research information, women's health research, databases, and the Internet.

Nonie King, Outreach and Media Coordinator, Project Manager at Pro-Cultura, Inc. With a background in market research as well as in business and management, Anona will help oversee all logistics regarding management of lists, worldwide speakers, organizations and guests as well as ICTM media and press outreach.
