The International Tibetan Medical Association (ITMA)

The International Tibetan Medical Association (ITMA) exists to advance and strengthen through advocacy and education the recognition of traditional Tibetan healing practices. ITMA is a humanitarian organization whose purpose is to promote world awareness, education and practice in the healing arts of Tibetan Medicine.

ITMA works to preserve and advance the ancient and distinctive healing arts of Tibet. ITMA is a non-profit and non-political organization incorporated in the State of New York, USA.  ITMA creates linkages between medical communities in the West to those inside Tibet for the purpose of advancing knowledge and mutual exchange and dialogue.
